Jesus made some unique
claims about Himself

Mark 14:61-62

John 6:38
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of Him who sent me.”

John 10:30
“I and the Father are one.”

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.

Jesus had unique power over Nature, Illness and Death

NATURE - Mark 4:37-41
And a great windstorm arose...And He (Jesus) awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? “Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

ILLNESS - Mark 1:31-34
That evening at sundown they brought to Him ALL who were sick or oppressed by demons. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. And He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And He would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

DEATH - John 12:9-11
When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came, not only on account of Him but also to see Lazarus, whom He (JESUS) had raised from the dead. So the chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death as well, because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.

Jesus was crusified and rose from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:3-7
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas (Peter), then to the twelve. Then He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
